The On-Demand Viewer allows personnel at a command center or in the field to use WAVcam wide area video for target tracking and characterization. Because the WAVcam's FOV remains fixed and repeatable, every part of the entire FOV is readily available for viewing in an On-Demand manner. This provides user user instant wide area situational awareness and enables him to perform his own localized tracking and threat level assessment.

The On-Demand software is implemented as a web server so that a multitude of users using a laptop computer can log in simultaneously via a standard web browser and view the portion of the WAV that is of interest to them individually. This gives surveillance personnel time critical information on their sector without having to wait for a shared resource like a zoom camera to be made available or pointed in a certain direction.
